WELCOME!

Our summer enrichment program at MIS balances educational challenge, the enjoyment of learning and outdoor fun. We take each summer participant to a higher level of academic ability and confidence; and the campers make lasting friendships with the other children. The program is designed for rising 2nd through 7th graders.

REGISTRATION
Admission to the Summer Enrichment Program is open on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please use the registration form provided to enroll your child. Photocopies may be made and submitted.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
The program costs 375 Euros per week per child. A non-refundable deposit of 100 Euros per child per week is due with the registration. The balance is due on or before June 1, 2008. If final payment has not been received by June 1st, the space may be given to the next person on the waiting list.

REFUND POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The Summer Enrichment Program reserves the right to cancel a session due to insufficient enrollment. In that event, your deposit and tuition paid will be returned in full.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Summer Enrichment Program reserves the right to dismiss, without a refund, any student who engages in unsafe or inappropriate conduct.

DAILY SCHEDULE
9 am = Arrival
9:00 to 10:30 = Block 1 Class
10:30 to 10:45 = Healthy Snack
10:45 to 12:15 = Block 2 Class
12:15 to 13:15 = Lunch / Recess / All-Camp Activities
13:15 to 15:00 = Block 3 Class
15:00 = Pick up

EXTENDED CARE
While not a part of our regular program, special arrangements can be made if there is enough interest in an after camp program.

BEACH DAYS
On the sunniest day of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), we will walk from the MIS campus down to the Starnberg Wasserpark for an afternoon of sun and swimming. On this day, campers will need to bring along their swimsuits, a towel, and sunscreen. Pick up will take place AT THE WASSERPARK.

TRANSPORTATION
Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to provide buses to bring children to camp. We will, however, publish a list of people interested in carpooling.

FOOD AND DRINK
Summer camp participants are to bring a packed lunch that does not require refrigeration. Mid morning snack will be provided as a means of teaching the students how to prepare and enjoy healthy snacks. Please also make sure your child brings a water bottle to school in order to stay hydrated.

HEALTH FORMS AND WAIVERS
Keeping your child healthy and safe is our first priority. Please make sure your child's health forms in the school nurse's office are up to date. In addition, please fill out the emergency medical form and waivers in the application packet.
